Debbie UniacDebbie began volunteering with the Professional Development portfolio, and has been a member of HRPLD's Executive team since 2007. In addition to volunteering with her fellow HR professionals, Debbie volunteers as a Personal Disaster Assistant with the Canadian Red Cross, and as a Skiing Assistant with the Huronia Program of the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing. Debbie is the Director of Human Resources at Trudell Medical International. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at the University of Windsor, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca College. She has a passion for employee training and development, and for over ten years, her career has provided the opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of human resources including recruitment, employee development, labour and employee relations, health and safety, and organizational change. Gwyneth HallGwyneth Hall has been employed in the Health & Benefits Business Unit of Mercer Human Resource Consulting since 2001. Prior to joining Mercer, Gwyneth worked as a Human Resource practitioner with several private sector employers.
At Mercer, Gwyneth is involved with a variety of client service teams with responsibilities ranging from strategic design of group benefit plan arrangements, to plan marketing and implementation, financial analysis of plan performance and benchmarking surveys. She has a strong interest in flexible benefit plan design and employee communication.
Gwyneth is working towards her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation. She received her Certified Human Resource Professional designation in September 2005. She is an active member of Girl Guides of Canada and a graduate of Queen’s University. Within the HRPLD Gwyneth has been involved with both the Professional Development and Communications Committees. Tammie YardyTammie has worked at London Health Sciences for over 10 years. She is currently in a temporary Recruitment Advisor role until March 2010 and serves on the Service Award Committee at London Health Sciences Centre which recognizes the staff for their years of service. Tammie has been on the Professional Development Committee and was also the Programs Chair for the past two years. She has been a member of the HRPLD since 1992 and received her CHRP in 2004 Robin FlaxRobin Flax has been employed with Brunel Canada, a part of the Brunel International group, since 2005. Prior to joining Brunel, Robin worked as a training consultant in Quebec and has spent 15 years of her career recruiting middle and upper management with several Executive Search Consultants. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations at McGill University and has also taught Recruitment & Selection in Canada at McGill's Department of Career & Management Studies - Centre for Continuing Education and at Fanshawe College. Robin began volunteering with the HRPLD when she arrived in London in 2006. In 2007 she started a new initiative with the HRPLD and has been chairing the Roundtable Discussion Group since that time. She was also involved as an active committee member with the HRPLD's Diversity Committee. She earned her CHRP designation in Quebec in 1994 and joined Ontario's Association in 2006.
Keri MumfordKeri began volunteering with the Community Partnerships portfolio before becoming Director of Community Partnerships and a member of HRPLD's Executive team in 2009.
Keri is the Human Resources Specialist at ‘A’ London, Windsor & Wingham and 102.3 BOB-FM (A Division of CTV Limited) and is responsible for all Human Resources functions including recruitment, health and safety, and labour relations. Her educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Education degree and C.H.R.P. (Certified Human Resource Professional) designation.
Jennifer KingJennifer is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Administrative & Commercial Studies with a specialization in Organizational & Human Resources. She is currently working towards obtaining the C.H.R.P designation. Jennifer is employed as an Employee Relations Officer with the Thames Valley District School Board which serves 184 schools in the London and surrounding area, employing over 8000 individuals. Jennifer has volunteered on the Communications & Membership committees for the last four years and is currently the Director of Communications for the Human Resources Professionals of London & District. Sarah DietzeSarah began volunteering with the Membership and Professional Standards portfolio in 2008 and is now on the Executive team for Membership. Sarah is a Human Resources Counsellor in Western Ontario for TD Canada Trust. She strives to deliver a consistent approach on coaching and best practices. In addition to Sarah’s experience she has worked with an Offshore Vendor in India and had the opportunity to train a Vendor offshore. Sarah attended Fanshawe College and holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management. Her passion lies within creating a unique and comfortable employee experience and coaching for success. For the last 5 years, her career has provided the opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of human resources including coaching, performance management, employee development and health and safety.
Jennifer FroeseJennifer holds the National Dream Fulfillment Coordinator position with the Sunshine Foundation, the only Canadian charity making dreams come true for kids with severe disabilities as well as life-threatening illnesses. She is a recent graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Childhood and Social Institutions and a double minor in French and Psychology. She is currently working towards her CHRP designation. Jennifer presently sits on the membership committee and holds the Student Liaison and Administrator positions within the HRPLD. |
